Germany-based cryogenic vehicle manufacturer GOFA, part of the Chart Industries Group since 2011, has introduced its own service and repair fleet on Europe’s roads.
GOFA is known as a leading manufacturer of gas, dry bulk, as well as tank vehicles and containers.
Now, however, as every minute of downtime during maintenance and repair results in further costs, GOFA has added its own service vehicles to its portfolio. With short reaction times they are always on standby in order to rush to a defective or damaged container vehicle – and, upon consultation, even on weekends.
Ideally, service work will be coordinated within regular downtimes, so that additional downtime can be avoided.
