Containment system specialist GTT will design and build the tanks for a liquefied natural gas carrier (LNGC) ordered by Korean shipyard Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) on behalf of an unnamed Asian ship-owner.
The 174,000m3 vessel tanks will be fitted with the GTT NO96 GW membrane containment system.
This system is a fully redundant membrane and insulating system, directly supported by the ship’s inner hill.
