It has been announced that Bernard Guerini, president of Air Products Europe since February 2002, will be retiring on 31st October after a career with Air Products spanning 32 years.
Guerini, who has led the gases business of 6 countries during his career with the company, will be succeeded on 1st November by Erwin Zwicky, currently vice president, Southern Europe.
In his current role, Zxicky has led Air Products’ gases businesses in Spain and Portugal and managed the company’s interests in SAPIO – Air Products’ joint venture in Italy.
John McGlade, president and chief executive officer, said of the succession, “Erwin brings a wealth of experience he has gained at Air Products by serving in multiple assignments across Latin America, North America, Southern Europe, the Continent and the UK.”
