HAM launches new CNG-LNG mobile service station

Spanish developer of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) service stations, HAM Group (HAM), has announced EDUX, a mobile service station which will allow users to store and refuel LNG to all types of trucks and heavy vehicles, in addition to providing the ability to refuel CNG.

Developed by HAM Criogenica and HAM’s R&D team, the mobile unit has 60,000 litres (60m3) of LNG refuelling capacity and works at low pressures (2-3 bar).

Capable of keeping the liquid subcooled and adapting to the optimal temperature required by brands such as Volvo, Scania and IVECO, the unit’s submerged pump can supply up to 12,000 kg/h of LNG and 300 kg/h of CNG (CNG storage capacity of 7,000kg).

Equipped with two ‘on the fly’ conditioning systems, the service station also features two CNG dispensers and two LNG dispensers, both of which utilise HAM’s ‘innovative’ nozzle, a ‘nofrost’ system and a double anchoring system.
