The Harris Product Group has donated $25,000 to Sisu, an organisation which brings educational, therapeutic, nursing and support services to children with special needs in 16 countries in northeast Georgia.
Based just down the street from Harris’ Gainesville, Georgia, facility, Sisu provides an integrated learning environment for children ages six weeks to six years with special needs to learn and interact alongside their typically developing peers.
Harris has been supporting the charity for many years now and, to date, has donated more than $285,000 to the non-profit to help build new classrooms, improve playgrounds and assist with administrative costs.
Melissa Nolan, Human Resources Manager at Harris, said, “At Harris, we’re proud to continue our annual charity contribution to Sisu, our friend and neighbour.”
