Harvest Energy Technology, Inc. (HET) has been awarded a contract to deliver a 100 Nm3/h High-Pressure Steam Methane Reformer (HPSMR) hydrogen generator to the Chinese Petroleum Corporation (CPC) of Taiwan.
The hydrogen generator will supply hydrogen for chemical feedstock and hydrogen refuelling applications. The project is being managed by Asia Pacific Fuel Cell Technologies, Ltd. (APFCT) to assist in the development of a metal hydride-based hydrogen refueling infrastructure to commercialize fuel cell powered transportation vehicles in Taiwan.
HET’s 35 Nm3/h HPSMR was previously successfully commissioned at the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (AC Transit, Oakland, CA) hydrogen energy station during the second quarter of 2006. The HPSMR hydrogen generator now supplies hydrogen to refuel three fuel cell buses and up to twelve fuel cell vehicles being operated at the facility.
