Transport and logistics service provider HOYER Group has published key figures, successes, initiatives and future goals in its newly published 2018 Sustainability Report.
The report highlights that compared to 2017, the HOYER Group achieved a 4% reduction of pollutant emissions, positively coinciding with the company’s internal corporate target to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 25% per tonne-kilometre
According to Ortwin Nast, CEO of the HOYER Group, “This puts the HOYER Group well on the way to achieving the environmental targets that we have set.”
The Germany-based company’s improved environmental performance has been a result of several factors, one of which is to move the maximum volume of goods by intermodal transport, using the company’s fleet of over 40,000 tank containers.
