After it was awarded with the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise earlier this year, specialist gas analysis solutions company Hummingbird Sensing Technology has been formally presented with the accolade at a special ceremony.
The UK-based company, which is a division of leading gas analysis company, Servomex, received the award to recognise its innovation in the design and manufacturing of its Paramagnetic oxygen (O2) sensors, widely used in medical and industrial applications.
Hummingbird officially received its award from the Queen’s representative, Peter Field, Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for East Sussex, at Servomex’s Technical Centre, Crowborough. Led by Servomex Group President Chuck Hurley, the company’s current UK directors were in attendance, along with representatives from Servomex’s parent company Spectris.
