Huntingdon Fusion Techniques (HFT) has designed the new PureGate® accessory, a one-way valve for specific flow rate and pressure.
This low-cost addition has been designed and constructed to pass a maximum of 7.5 litres/min and 0.5 bar pressure. Other versions of 1bar and above are also available.
PureGate has applications in both fluid and gas control. Its small size and low weight makes it valuable for small liquid dispensing machines, as well as large ones with multiple heads, where higher pressures and flow rates might be used to cater for the output of a multi-head machine. In particular, PurgeGate has found valuable applications in the welding industry, where inflatable devices are used for weld purging tubes and pipes.
