Hydrogen leak detection from Adixen

Adixen has introduced its new industrial hydrogen leak detection System ILS500.

The company says ILS500 is sensitive and can detect leaks as small as 5 x 10-7 mbar x l/s and may be adapted to be used with a manual hand probe. As a result of its efficient design the manufacturers say operation costs are typically 40 percent lower than comparable helium detection systems.

Technologically, the ILS500 is equipped with computer capacity for tooling control, trace gas handling, test sequencing and leak testing, all controlled by an easy touch screen interface.

Adixen also explain that to ensure a short test cycle time and reliable operation, the ILS500 is fully integrated with a vacuum pump, a gas pressure regulator, a pressure sensor and a vacuum sensor. in addition, the ILS500 is compact, robust and easy to integrate into automated leak testing utilities.
