Hydrogenics Corporation has been chosen to supply a large-scale electrolysis system to generate hydrogen (H2) at a fueling station in Germany.
Ontario-based Hydrogenics, a developer and manufacturer of hydrogen generation and fuel cell power modules, will deliver the electrolysis system to Maximator GmbH during 2019 and produce over 400 kilograms of hydrogen per day.
Maximator is a compressor manufacturer which is building a one megawatt facility in Wuppertal, a city in western Germany, to cover the daily needs of more than ten new fuel cell buses operated by WSW, the local public transit company.
