Hypertherm is continuing its cultural and environmental efforts, having today (25th Oct) highlighted its progress so far with the publication of its 2021 Corporate Culture and Social Responsibility report.
The US-based manufacturer of industrial cutting products and software said 2021 saw its non-renewable fuel use decrease more than 7%, as well as a decrease in both direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions.
The company also introduce two new products with environmental benefits and introduced its OMAX waterjet business into its energy usage metrics for the first time. Despite this addition, energy savings were still made.
Focusing on inclusion and diversity, the firm also formed an Inclusion and Diversity Executive Council with members of its executive management team and expanded its ‘critical success factors’ to include the fostering of inclusive and diverse teams.
