ICx technologies, developer and provider of sensor detection systems, has announced the formation of ICx Cryogenics after reaching an exclusive distributor sales agreement with RICOR Cryogenic & Vacuum Systems headquartered in Israel.
In partnership with RICOR, ICx Cryogenics will serve as the US-based supplier of critical components for infrared, industrial and detection systems to ICx customers.
ICx senior vice president, Dan Manitakos, said, $quot;This arrangement is the first step toward establishing a US-based merchant supplier focused on delivering world leading cryogenic coolers at very competitive price levels.$quot;
RICOR is an established specialist in the design and development of Sterling cycle tactical cryogenic coolers that include rotary, linear and pulse tube coolers for infrared applications and it is this expertise which could ensure a sound technical service is provided by the new venture.
