IBG, the Brazilian industrial, medical and speciality gases company, has inaugurated the first production unit at its new air separation unit plant in the city and municipality of Aparecida de Goiânia.
The new ASU in Goiania, the second largest city in the state of Goias, Brazil, gives IBG status as the first gas company to produce air gases in the country’s central region. The inauguration took place on 31st July, with Brazilian politician and lieutenant governor of Goias, Ademir de Oliveira Menezes in attendance among other authorities, customers and suppliers.
Established in 1992, IBG currently has 240 employees and is the only independent gas company currently operating in Brazil, producing and distributing such gases as oxygen, nitrogen, argon and acetylene.
