Gas detection expert Industrial Scientific has met a strict EU standard on hazardous substances which aims to reduce the impact of global consumer electronic waste.
Effective immediately, all its products will be manufactured according to the European Union Directive 2011/65/EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Standard.
As a result, all items shipped from Industrial Scientific manufacturing facilities to European customers will now meet these stringent compliance standards, which prohibits the sale of electronics with certain hazardous materials to member countries.
