Renewable gas and hydrogen-to-power solutions company INNIO will collaborate with Concord Renewable Energy SDN BHD (Concord Group) to build four biogas-powered power plants across Malaysia.

With the companies signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Dubai Expo 2020 earlier this year, the project aims to also contribute to Malaysia’s COP26 commitment of increasing its National Renewable Energy Capacity target from a 20% increase to a 31% increase of renewables by 2025.
Each plant will utilise two INNIO Jenbacher biogas engines, collectively delivering more than 8 MW (megawatts) of power to the grid.
