INOX Air Products (INOXAP) will build its fifth cryogenic air separation unit (ASU) at India’s largest onsite industrial gas complex, Hazira Plant.
Announcing the news today (8th Feb), India’s largest industrial and medical gases manufacturer said it had bagged the prestigious contract from ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India.
Once operational, the new ASU is expected to generate 700 tonnes per day of gaseous Oxygen and 300 tonnes per day of gaseous nitrogen, along with other liquid gases.
Siddharth Jain, Executive Director of INOX Air Products, said, “The new contract for setting up yet another ASU underlines our reliability, commitment and consistency to our strategic customer.”
