Iwatani Australia to strengthen hydrogen supply with Brisbane office opening

Japanese firm Iwatani Corporation (Iwatani) has been building a large-scale hydrogen supply chain from overseas through a project led by the CO2-free Hydrogen Energy Supply-chain Technology Research Association (HySTRA).

In addition to this, Iwatani has collaborated with various other Australian companies including Queensland government-owned power company Stanwell and leading iron ore producer Fortescue Metals Group.

Iwatani intend to open an office of Iwatani Australia in Brisbane, Queensland as part of the early establishment of a commercial supply chain in 2030.

This opening will also allow the company to strengthen relationships with affiliated companies, as well as conduct local market and infrastructure research.
