The Independent Welding Distributors Cooperative (IWDC) set a monthly record in members’ spending with $25.2m in August.
The IWDC is a cooperative which aims to allow members to compete equally or have an edge with the national chains and majors, leveraging the strengths of its independent welding distributor members across North America.
It negotiates vendor deals for member owners to buy through and in August IWDC members spent $25.2m with vendor partners.
“We have never broken through $25 million and are excited to raise the bar again,” said Frank Kasnick, IWDC President and CEO.
