Japan air gases, which became a wholly owned company of Air Liquide this March, reported growth in all business sectors for the financial year 2006.
At a meeting in Tokyo regarding its financial statement, the president Guy Salzgeber stated, $quot;We are planning to integrate with Air Liquide Japan in the fourth quarter of this year. The new company name should be Air Liquide Japan. While in terms of the gas and services business, the name of JAG will remain as a brand name, and the name of Air Liquide Japan will be kept in use for the plant engineering business. Air Liquide Laboratories will continue activity under the R&D management of the Air Liquide Group.$quot;
Salzgeber then revealed that most of its business in the financial year 2006 showed positive growth and consolidated figures demonstrated an operating profit of ¥15.943 bn.
He continued by stating that the company would go into the next century constructing a long-term relationship with its customers through their innovation and technologies based on their pioneer spirit.
