Suzhou Jinhua Runze Energy Co. Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the leading local gas company Suzhou Jinhong Gas Co. Ltd, in Jiangsu province in Eastern China, has recently opened its first CNG/LNG refuelling station.
The opening of the station marks Jinhong Gas’ aggressive entrance into the LNG business for the transportation sector.
The refuelling station is strategically sited at the junction of Provincial Highway 227 and Taiyang Road, and close to two other highways. It is equipped with one 60m3 LNG storage tank, pumps, vaporizers, two sets of LNG dispensers and CNG dispensers, and other necessary equipment for the filling of clean fuel vehicles.
Part of the LNG supply to the refuelling station could be supplied from the waste gas recovery plant attached to the synthetic ammonia plant of Jinhong Gas commissioned last year. The plant is a joint investment between Jinhong Gas and Hubei Qianjiang Jinhuarun Chemical Fertilizer Company, with a capacity to produce 25 million m3 of LNG per year.
