Kalmar has announced that it will partner with SSAB in Sweden to develop a hydrogen (H2)-powered medium-range forklift truck.
Kalmar’s aim is to find a more sustainable solution for SSAB and help them to contribute in diminishing carbon dioxide emissions at the site.
The proposed forklift truck will have a lift capacity of 9-18 tonnes and will use H2 as fuel, resulting in a more environmentally sound solution for material handling.
