Kinder Morgan resumes operations after fire

US energy infrastructure company Kinder Morgan has restarted two of its three liquefaction units that shut after a fire at its Elba Island LNG export plant in Georgia.

According to Reuters, unit three begun the restart process later Tuesday with unit one expected to begin the process by the end of the week. 

Kinder Morgan said that it is currently investigating the fire that took place two weeks ago and does not have an estimated date for white Unit 2 will return to service.

Earlier this month, the Houston Chronicle reported that the fire temporarily shut down Train 2 as well as two neighbouring production units as a precaution.
