South Korean state-run gas company Korea Gas Corp. (KOGAS) has signed a deal with US energy firm Sempra Infrastructure (Sempra) that will see the partners teaming up to advance decarbonisation initiatives.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the two on Friday, April 1st, called for cooperation in the areas of liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen and carbon capture.
The companies aim to strengthen a ‘mutual cooperative system’ for dealing with global carbon-neutral policy and participating in low-carbon business.
