Process industries solutions provider KROHNE is offering a free online seminar on Safety Instrumented Function (SIF) in the process industry.
Announced today (24th June), the KROHNE Academy seminar aims to address a range of issues from the latest changes of the IEC 61508 and optimisation guidance within SIF according to the standards IEC 61508/61511.
Held in collaboration with industry leaders such as AUMA, HIMA, and SAMSON, the event will feature podium discussions on automating partial proof tests, designing single point responsibility using high integrity protection systems (HIPS), and actuator sizing according to WIB standards.
Ten additional presentations will cover technology, standards, and best practices.
