Kryooprema successfully commissions equipment for Calabar project

Serbian cryogenic equipment manufacturing company Kryooprema delivered cryogenic equipment for LOX, LIN and LAR stations as well as for hydrogen (H2) station for General Electric for Calabar Project in Nigeria.

Deliveries included also eight regulation, control and safety racks for gas supplies to the various End User’s equipment.

The commissioning took place in the beginning of December, 2017 following the functional and pressure tests performed in November.

gasworld’s Senior Business Analyst James Barr said, “The Nigerian industrial gases business was valued at around $175m in 2016. Air Liquide are the largest company active in the country with a market share of around 17%. BOC are the second largest company with an estimated market share of approximately 15%. Packaged gases account for around three quarters of total revenue, with the remainder mostly being linked to bulk deliveries.”
