Welding gas and products supplier Weldamax has appointed a new CEO following the acquisition of the company by South African industrial gases company Air Products.
As the largest company in Air Products’ distributor network, Weldamax supplies a range of welding related products under its trade name Unique Welding.
The acquisition is part of Air Products’ aim to diversify into the welding market while continuing to grow its presence in the industrial gas sector.
“The acquisition will enable us to further strengthen our market share, leverage resources and knowledge, and to provide a one-stop gases and welding product offering to our customers,” commented Rob Richardson, Managing Director, Air Products.
