BJ Process and Pipeline Services has been awarded a contract by BG Exploration and Production India Limited (BGEPIL) to provide nitrogen and helium leak detection testing services, for the company’s new process facilities on Tapti field in India.
All process systems located on Tapti field will be tested for any leakage, with 99% nitrogen and 1% helium, while testing will be carried out when systems are inert to ensure maximum safety.
Primary management of the BGEPIL leak-testing contract is being carried out at the BJ Process and Pipeline regional headquarters in Dubai, with operational support provided from branch offices in Mumbai and Baroda, India.
BGEPIL owns a 30% share in the joint venture that is executing the pipeline project in the Tapti gas field, offshore India, where gas is gathered from the field and surrounding areas.
