Vacuum specialist Leybold has donated nearly €6,000 ($6,945) to an initiative providing clean drinking water and sanitation.
Water for All is the Atlas Copco Group’s main community engagement project and is funded through employee volunteer contributions.
It was realised in 1984 when two Atlas Copco employees – Torgny Rogert and Peter Håkansson, saw a 30-minute documentary about the then ongoing drought in Peru and the harsh living conditions that followed. Affected by what they had seen, they decided to find a way to help.
