Clean energy specialist Lhyfe has announced the launch of its offshore renewable green hydrogen production pilot site, a world first for offshore electrolysis.
Yesterday (22nd Sept), as part of the demonstration, the company started a wind powered pilot in Saint-Nazaire, France, which it hopes to support the UK’s Net Zero ambitions by aiding in the production of renewable generated clean energy.
By unlocking the ‘huge potential’ of offshore wind, Lhyfe aims to bring renewable green hydrogen production to mass market, allowing coastal countries to develop green solutions for regions, industry, transport and fuel distribution.
