BMW’s high-tech hydrogen-powered 7-series is introduced to the Southern Hemisphere this year, as the company’s innovative vehicles are given a twirl during an Australian exhibition aimed at promoting the economic transport solution for the future.
The super-clean luxury Sedan is part of a BMW Efficient Dynamics exhibition displayed at Melbourne’s Federation Square in late January 2008, while a fleet of BMW Hydrogen 7 limousines was also featured and has been used to provide real-time driving experiences for political and business leaders, as well as key environment and media personalities.
The exhibition took place in a bespoke pavilion built on-site, containing static and interactive displays of future BMW technology, as well as informative walls detailing some of the many automotive advancements BMW has developed. The Australian exhibition is part of a $quot;global exposure$quot; programme by BMW to raise awareness not only to its own developments and products, but also to the wider hydrogen concept as a whole.
In America, BMW has been shuttling green-minded personalities – such as Cate Blanchett, Geoffrey Rush, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Richard Gere, Jay Leno and Placido Domingo – to public engagements in the BMW Hydrogen 7 limousines.
