Lincoln electric holdings recently reported their 2006 third quarter results.
Third quarter sales increased 20 percent to $495.1m and net income increased 15 percent to $43.9m. Operating income for the 2006 third quarter increased 50 percent to $59.7m from $39.7 million in the comparable 2005 period.
Sales for the Company’s North American operations were $330.4m in the quarter versus $276.8m in the comparable quarter last year, an increase of 19 percent.
Sales at Lincoln subsidiaries outside North America increased to $164.7m in the third quarter, compared with $135.2m in the year ago quarter.
