According to Crains Cleveland Business – USA, Linde Gas LLC of Independence has received a contract, valued at approximately $5.4 million. Their job is to supply liquid nitrogen to the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.
The contract will run from January to December 2008, according to a statement from NASA. The contract includes options through 2010.
The contract will support the Vision for Space Exploration, NASAs long-term plan to return astronauts to the moon and extend exploration to Mars and beyond.
