Linde Gas LLC to build air separation plant

Linde Gas LLC have announced that it will build, own and operate an on site air separation plant at the new SeverCorr steel mini-mill in Lowndes County, US.

From this facility, Linde will supply 550 tons per day of gaseous oxygen plus gaseous nitrogen, argon and compressed air via pipeline to SeverCorrs automotive quality steel operations. The scheduled start-up for the Linde facility is May 2007.

“This project marks a significant extension of Linde˜s focus of being a world class design, engineering and construction company, to an owner and operator of the plants we build for the steel industry.
