Linde LLC has been contracted once again to lift the world-famous balloons at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, by supplying more than 300,000 cubic feet of helium (He) for the celebrations.
This year marks the parade’s 90th event and Linde’s 22nd consecutive year providing all the He to inflate the balloons.
The gas is supplied from Linde’s Otis plant in Kansas, which is one of the largest in the world having been built in 1965.
