The Linde Group is now a member of the Clean Intralogistics Net (CIN), an association of German companies in the hydrogen (H2) and fuel cell sector.
Coordinated by the National Organisation Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NOW GmbH), and financially supported with funds from the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), the initiative focuses on the further development of H2-powered industrial trucks and materials handling vehicles.
Speaking about the newly concluded agreement, Wolfgang Axthammer, Managing Director of NOW GmbH, said, “In the area of intralogistics, the deployment of fuel cell technology lets carbon emissions be reduced by at least 25 percent, allows productivity to be increased, reduces the space requirements for the recharging infrastructure while recharging times can be simultaneously significantly decreased. With Linde, we have secured a further strong partner to help promote these highly-efficient applications.”
