Linde Gases, a division of The Linde Group, has announced the launch of its new refillable cylinder for portable calibration and testing of highly sensitive environmental monitoring devices.
The ECOCYL® OSQ refillable cylinder employs a unique negative pressure technology, guaranteeing precision in the calibration gas delivery requirements for ultra-sensitive instruments, which can be susceptible to damage from the positive gas pressure usually applied by other gas cylinders.
Such instruments include detection monitors with integrated pumps or those monitors calibrated in docking stations with built-in pumping devices.
ECOCYL® is part of the HiQ® portable specialty gas solutions from Linde. As with other models in the ECOCYL® range, the ECOCYL® OSQ is refillable, avoiding the environmental waste or costly regulatory cylinder return and waste handling issues often related with typical disposable cylinder packaging.
