Linde North America has won Norfolk Southern Corporation’s Thoroughbred Chemical Safety Award for the fourth consecutive year.
This is the tenth time Linde North America has been recognised by the transportation company, Norfolk Southern. Wick Moorman, CEO of Norfolk Southern commented, “We congratulate Linde for its outstanding industry leadership in chemical safety.$quot;
He continued, $quot;With its absolute focus on best safety practices, Linde demonstrates the value of freight rail as the one of the safest, reliable, and environmentally friendly way to move chemical products.”
Fred Kinkin, Head of Supply for Linde North America remarked at the firm’s pride in receiving the award. He said, “This award acknowledges our focus on railcar safety at our plants and depots and the hard work and dedication of our employees. It also recognises Linde’s continued commitment to safety which is one of this company’s most important core values.”
