The Linde Group celebrated the official opening of its most modern, fully automated, gas filling plant in Europe on 12th September in Marl Industrial Park, Germany.
At the Rhine-Ruhr filling plant, industrial gases such as oxygen, nitrogen and argon as well as welding or food-grade gases and synthetic air are filled into cylinders and bundles. The new site will also provide propane, acetylene, medical gases and specialty gases for a complete range of products.
Linde enters completely new territory with the full automation of internal transport, sorting, storage and order picking. This enables the handling of more than one million gas cylinders per year.
