Linde Intermediate Holding AG (Linde Intermediate) has confirmed shareholders will be offered an extra €1.22 to help complete a merger with Praxair, raising a squeeze-out offer to €189.46 per share.
The two industrial gas giants announced the €78bn ($90bn) merger after getting clearance from the US anti-trust approval in October, to create a new market leader.
The squeeze-out increase follows from adjustments based on current information regarding the assessment of the expected purchase prices for certain divestments required with respect to the business combination with US-based Praxair.
A court-appointed auditor had confirmed the improved offer was adequate, Germany-bsaed Linde said in a statement.
