Linde North America’s carbon dioxide plant in Corpus Christi, Texas, US, has received an award for its excellent safety record in 2008.
The company, which is a member of The Linde Group, received the award from the Contractor Safety Council (CSC); an organisation that delivers training and site specific job safety orientation to production facilities in the Corpus Christi area.
The purpose of the accolade is to recognise and promote safety and awareness by chemical companies in the area for the care and safety of employees and communities.
Linde’s Corpus Christi plant was chosen for having an OSHA safety record of less than one accident and no lost time recordable for the whole of 2008.
