The Linde Group has released new modularisation and digitalisation concepts for liquefied natural gas (LNG) operations.
The industrial gas giant has created a ‘Modularisation Competence Centre’ which focuses on developing natural gas reserves in regions that are difficult to access or are located in challenging climates.
The modularisation concept has been designed for mid-scale LNG plants with a liquefaction capacity of between one and two million tonnes per year and enables the entire process plant to be installed on barges and transported to respective end destinations.
