Linde has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to form the Bavarian Additive Manufacturing Cluster (BAMC) alongside fellow signatories including Audi, EOS, GE, MTU Aero Engines, Siemens and the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
The cluster – to be launched as a non-profit association in Spring 2023 – aims to bridge the gap between organisations when it comes to meeting technical and economic challenges on the path to additive manufacturing (AM).
By doing so, leading commercial organisations and institutions will jointly decide on research priorities and projects to be undertaken to advance AM, allowing for greater collaboration between enterprise and academia.
