Linde have announced a long-term agreement to supply PT Freeport Indonesia with high-purity industrial gases.
The leading global industrial gases and engineering company will build, own and operate an air separation unit (ASU), which will provide oxygen and nitrogen to PT Freeport Indonesia’s new copper smelter and refinery in Manyar.
PT Freeport Indonesia is one of the country’s leading mining company’s and operate in the Mimika regency.
Moloy Banerjee, President, ASEAN & South Asia at Linde, said, “Copper plays a key role in the electrification of transportation and industrial processes. We are excited to help PT Freeport expand its processing capacity in Indonesia.”
