Linde’s Altamont, California, LNG plant has received Responsible Care certification

A Linde LNG plant in Altamont, California, has been certified under the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care® program.

The LNG plant in Altamont is a joint venture with Waste Management and is the 25th Linde facility to be Responsible Care certified since 2008.

Tom Dziak, Linde’s Altamont Plant Manager, said, “Responsible Care certification is consistent with our values as a team in Altamont, and recognizes the approach we take daily operating the facility.” 

This is a truly renewable, green fuel supply that produces up to 13,000 gallons per day of LNG.”

The LNG is produced from landfill garbage decomposition and is used to fuel Waste Management’s fleet of LNG powered waste disposal trucks.
