Linde’s Reitzle receives ‘Rudolph Erren Award’

Prof. Wolfgang Reitzle, President and CEO of Linde AG has been presented with the ‘Rudolph Erren Award’ by the International Association for Hydrogen Energy (IAHE).

Presented at the 16th World Hydrogen Conference in Lyon, The prize is named after the German engineer, Rudolph Erren, and is awarded biennially for exceptional contributions to the advancement of hydrogen technology, which yields great potential for the future. The award is widely regarded as one of the industrys most prestigious.

According to Linde: “The company has been a driving force in the development of hydrogen technology for years, focusing in particular on building an infrastructure for the automotive segment.”

In March 2006, for instance, the second public hydrogen refueling station in Berlin went into operation using Linde technology, as part of the Clean Energy Partnership (CEP).
