An LNG Centre of Excellence is set to be constructed in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
US Senator Bill Cassidy on Thursday (17th June) announced that the Commerce Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is supporting the development with $2.8m.
The funds were awarded to McNeese State University Foundation which will build the centre.
Once complete, the centre will serve as a hub of resiliency for the LNG industry.
