Foster Wheeler Ltd. has recently announced that its Madrid-based subsidiary Foster Wheeler Iberia S.A.U. has been awarded a contract by Canadian company SNC-Lavalin Services Limited for part of the front-end engineering design (FEED) of a new LNG re-gasification terminal in Swinoujscie, Poland.
The Foster Wheeler contract value was not disclosed, though the project was included in the company’s first-quarter 2008 bookings.

This latest LNG award further confirms Foster Wheeler Iberia’s position as one of the leading engineering companies in the LNG field,” said Jesús Cadenas, CEO of Foster Wheeler Iberia S.A.U.
“Our company is also currently involved in two LNG terminal projects in Spain for Enagas, and we are proud of having participated in most of the LNG terminals already in operation in Spain.”
