LNG station plans unveiled in Denmark

A new refuelling station for trucks running on liquefied natural gas (LNG) is under construction in Denmark – and it’s believed to be a first for the country.

Station operator Q8 is behind the project and will host the station at its IDS station in the Danish city Padborg, which is right next to a major highway and the border to Germany.

During the stations initial operations, truck drivers will fill their tanks with LNG at the station, but eventually, Q8 will offer 100% fossil-free liquefied biogas (LBG).
