UK based, Luxfer Gas Cylinders donated a total of £3132 to help fund the running of the British Lung Foundation (BLF) events held over 2 days in Derby and Wolverhampton.
The company attended the Breathe Easy conferences and provided hands-on help with workshops, organisation and catering.
Members and supporters of Breathe Easy groups from across the Midlands attended the events as part of BLFs information exchange and support days, which is aimed at raising awareness and providing networking opportunities for both new and well established groups.
Caroline Johnson, BLF support and development manager for the Midlands, said: Luxfer’s contribution to the events provide a much-needed resource both financially and in terms of hands-on help. As a charity run and maintained by patients and carers, Breathe Easy groups benefit enormously from the conferences, which help provide advice ranging from fund-raising to marketing, as well as an opportunity to meet together socially.
